This week’s accident report sees a motorcycle that crashed into a truck and resulted in a fatality, as well as a mom of three who struck by a car as she was walking on the side of a busy road.

Cab Driver Attacked And Has His Car Stolen
Early on Saturday, June 24, 2017, a livery cab driver in the Bronx was jumped and had his brand new car stolen. The 35-year-old cab driver was jumped soon after he had parked his blue 2017 Hyundai Elantra on Williamsbridge Road and Pelham Parkway in Pelham Gardens when two men with knives approached him around 2.20 a.m.
According to officials, the suspects threatened to stab him and one of the men took his iPhone, wallet, and keys. The men took off in the cab driver’s Elantra, which has livery plates. Officials also stated that there was a third man who on the lookout.
Fortunately, the cab driver was not harmed and the cops are looking for the stolen car and the three suspects.
Seven People Injured In Two-Vehicle Collision
In Sullivan, New York on Friday, June 23, 2017, seven people were injured and taken to hospital after a two-vehicle collision on a central New York road.
According to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened on Friday morning on Lakeport Road in the town of Sullivan. The accident happened as a result of a collision between a van with five people in it and a Jeep with two people inside.
Of the injured people were three children who were in the van. So far, police stated that one person suffered serious injuries and the details of the other injuries were not released yet.
The accident is under investigation.
Motorcycle Crash Kills One Man In Schenectady, New York
On June 24, 2017, a motorcyclist crashed into a truck and died in Charlton. The motorcyclist was 50-years-old and was riding his 2009 Kawasaki motorcycle in the wrong lane going eastbound on Old State Route 67 near Route 67 when the accident took place. The motorcyclist crashed into a 2000 Dodge pick-up truck that was about to make a left turn.
The pick-up truck was being driven by a 22-year-old man who ended up being cited for operating a vehicle with a suspended driver’s license. The pick-up truck driver was not injured, and the police are still investigating how the collision happened and what led to the motorcyclist’s death for sure. Initially, the motorcyclist broke his leg and was taken to Albany Medical Center for treatment, but he later suffered an incident that led to his death.
Mom And Her Three Kids Struck By Car In Monsey, NY
A mom who was walking on the shoulder of a road in a busy area in Monsey, New York, was hit by a car and injured. The mom was walking with her three children when she was struck.
According to police, the woman was pushing her infant son in a stroller when a car hit them, including her two daughters. Video footage of the accident shows a stroller lying on its side and a car with a smashed windshield.
A 62-year-old man was driving the car that struck this family and he has been charged with assault, reckless endangerment and reckless driving. He was held on $150,000 bail.
The accident is under investigation.
Albany Police Car Chase Ends With One Injury
In Albany, a 21-year-old man was taken to hospital with minor injuries on Monday, June 26, 2017, after he had led state police on a car chase through Albany. The 21-year-old led the police through Albany in this car chase and, it ended up in a crash and foot chase.
What started the chase was when a state police trooper tried to stop a speeding Jeep on Interstate 90 close to Exit 4. The Jeep did not pull over and instead, the driver ran off in what ended up being a police chase. The Jeep rolled over and the driver still tried to run away on foot. He was caught and taken to the hospital with a minor injury.
