Law Firm – Seeking Justice For Construction Workers

Construction Accident Lawyers Ready To Fight For Your Rights

  • Decades Of Experience

  • Previous Verdicts Include $20 Million For A Construction Worker Hurt In A Fall

  • Former Clients Call Us “Simply The Best To Work With”

Without construction workers, New York wouldn’t exist. Every single day, new buildings are built and work is done on older buildings to ensure they are in the best shape possible. Sadly, this industry is one of the most dangerous in the country and instead of acknowledging that, employers frequently push workers to do their jobs in unsafe conditions in order to save themselves time and money.

In many cases, workers aren’t even aware that their job site isn’t up to code and doesn’t meet OSHA and DOB safety standards.

Slip and fall accidents, accidents involving heavy machinery, falling object, scaffolding accidents, and more can put a construction worker in the hospital for an extended period of time, end their career, or even kill them. In order to get the care that they need, many apply for workers’ compensation which may help to cover come of their expenses but likely won’t cover all of them.

An experienced attorney can help get the full compensation that is needed to pay medical bills, cover lost wages, and even compensate the worker for non-monetary losses like physical pain and suffering and emotional trauma.

Trial Attorney – Were You Hurt By A Medical Professional?

Medical Malpractice Law Firm Helping Patients Recover

  • $6.4 Million Won For Client Whose Doctors Ignored His Pain & Allowed His Medical Condition To Worsen

  • Experienced Lawyers Ready To Prepare The Case & Client For Court

  • Voted Top Med Mal Lawyers By Legal Herald

We all put our trust into medical professionals, hoping that nurses, doctors, physical therapists, and even pharmacists will use all of their knowledge and resources to help treat whatever medical condition we are diagnosed with. Sadly, medical professionals do make mistakes.

Misdiagnosis, prescription errors, surgical errors, and birth injuries are just a few ways in which medical professionals can cause a patient harm. The harm that is sustained is often not easily fixed or fixable at all. In the worst cases, the patient dies because of the mistake that has been made.

Patients or the loved ones who have died because of medical malpractice have the right to pursue legal action against the parties responsible. While it may not change the past, the compensation that can be obtained could help to make the future a better one.

People slip, trip, and fall every day. Sometimes, their accident has been caused by a hazard on someone else’s property – a hazard that shouldn’t exist. Under premise liability laws, these victims have the right to file a lawsuit against the owner or managers of the property.

Owners and managers of all properties are expected to routinely check their land and buildings for any issues that could possibly cause a visitor harm. Hazards may include broken stairs or handrails, ice and snow, spilled liquids, potholes, or even loose wires. Once an issue has been identified, the person responsible must either fix it or at the very least, place warning signs around the area.

Our team understands how complicated this type of law is and is prepared to combine our passion for the law, our knowledge, and our experience to fight for our client’s rights.

Scaffolding Accident Lawsuits Help Injured Workers

  • Many Multi-Million Dollar Verdicts For Former Clients

  • Dedicated To Staying Up To Date On Construction Laws In New York

  • Recommended Highly By Former Clients

Scaffolding is used every day by construction workers to take them to great heights along the sides of buildings. Due to the dangerous nature of the work, OSHA and the Department of Buildings have created safety standards that must be followed when scaffolding is either constructed or being used.

When construction company owners and managers fail to follow those safety standards, their employees pay the price.

A fall from a standing position can cause serious damage such as a brain injury or spinal cord injury so it’s easy to understand that falling from scaffolding can be life-threatening. Most victims aren’t able to get up and walk away and many are unable to return to work.

Our law firm believes that the hard-working construction workers of New York should be compensated for the mistakes that another party makes. That’s why we fight aggressively for our client’s rights and either carefully negotiate a settlement on their behalf or take the matter to court.
